I’m a former math teacher changing careers to actuarial science. I'm naturally curious and love learning—both broadly (I'm a trivia enthusiast who reads across diverse topics) and deeply (particularly in statistics and history). I love a dataset that tells a good story and puzzling out what the data doesn’t say.
An important part of becoming an actuary are the exams. I'm pursuing an ACAS and here's what I've passed so far:
- Exam FM (June 2025)
- Exam P (July 2025)
- MAS-I (October 2025)
- MAS-II (Sitting April 2026)
Trying my best to maintain my sanity while doing this crazy thing.
